If you are an overseas Filipino in China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan the following reminders should be observed.

In the press conference conducted on February 03, 2020 at the Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development, Dr. Glenn Mathew Baggao, Medical Center Chief of the Cagayan Valley Medical Center stressed that as of this time there is no truth that there is a positive identification of a case with the nCoV-ARD in Region 02 and that there is no case of Novel Coronavirus admitted in CVMC; coronavirus is not yet in the region.
Dr. Rio Magpantay, DOH R02 Regional Director, clarified that what we have is only a Person-Under-Investigation. He explained that in the Decision Tool for nCoV Assessment, there are four tools namely:
1. Fever of 38°C
2. Respiratory Infection (cough and/or colds)
3. Travel history for the past 14 days not just in Wuhan City or Hubei Province but in China as per latest advisory from the DOH Central Office
4. History of exposure
Dr. Magpantay explained further that if a person has the four signs, he/she is considered a PUI without the result of the laboratory tests. Even if a person only has one of the signs/symptoms stated above, he/she is considered a PUI which means he/she is required to undergo consultation in health centers and should be quarantined for 14 days wherein the signs and symptoms of the disease manifest.
Beware of fake news. The nCoV threat is a very serious public concern. Remember NCOV before you share.
